Why & How to be an Expert in Your Field

Why be an expert? People what to know you, know what you are doing, and more importantly that you have their best interest in mind and can help them get what they want.

How to be an expert? Know your subject matter. Why? It develops your confidence. Confidence is one of the strongest selling skills in a sales person.

Understand it is not about you. You need to understand how your product or service helps others to achieve their goals?

Learn to communicate. Other must understand how your product or service will help them. 

Demonstrate your knowledge. Knowing what questions to ask is the best way to demonstrate your knowledge. The best question to ask is “why is that important to you?” 

Act with Integrity. Do what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it. Be a person others can trust and depend on.

Make Money. Zig Ziglar said “to get what you want help others get what they want.”Find out what they want!
